Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes, Dr. Wyman’s offers a free 15-minute phone consultation.

Is Dr. Wyman a licensed psychologist?

Yes, Dr. Wyman is licensed as a school and clinical psychologist by the College of Psychologists of Ontario. He specializes in working with children and teenagers between the ages of 4 and 19, as well as parents. He can provide therapy and psychoeducational assessment services.

Does Dr. Wyman provide educational assessments?

Yes, Dr. Wyman provides psychoeducational assessment services. He is currently scheduling psychoeducational assessment clients for Spring 2025. If you live in the the greater London and St. Thomas, Ontario areas, you are welcome to reach out to us to see when Dr. Wyman may be scheduling psychoeducational assessment clients.

Do you direct bill insurance?

Direct billing is unavailable at this time. Clients will be provided a receipt after payment to submit to insurance companies for reimbursement. Reach out to your insurance provider to confirm your coverage for services.

What is the cost per session?

A 60-minute virtual therapy session with Dr. Wyman is $200. Psychoeducational assessments and other assessments vary. See Assessments page for details.

What can Dr. Wyman not help with?

Dr. Wyman is not licensed or trained to provide treatment in the following areas:

  • Treatment for clients aged 20-years and older. 
  • Treatment for clients under the age of 4. 
  • Family therapy.
  • Addictions treatment.
  • Treatment for gender dysphoria. 
  • Treatment for pediatric schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. 
  • Treatment for eating disorders. 
  • Custody assessments and consultation.
How does virtual therapy work?

After a session is booked, an email will be sent to you with a link to create your account in the Jane Telehealth App. When your appointment time is coming up, you will receive another email with a link to access your meeting. You may use a laptop, desktop, tablet or phone. However, a computer or laptop is always preferred for virtual meetings. Whatever device you use should have a functioning camera. The attendee should find a quiet and private space for the duration of the session.

Do I need a referral from a doctor?

Dr. Wyman does not require a referral for therapy or assessments. However, your insurance provider may require one for services to be covered. Confirm with your insurance provider.
